SLCHC Students Help in emergency sandbagging

As part of the Nursing Program, St. louis College of Health Careers tries to promote 'nursing' as a part of the community. The students approached the faculty requesting permission to 'serve their community' by sandbagging in Winfield Missouri. They felt strongly about paying back the time and concern that others gave to the area when they were effected. On June 19th a group of nursing students from the County Campus volunteered to 'sandbag'. After calling the hotline they were routed to Winfield, MO to help with the efforts.
